“The United States has more children in need of ABA services than are therapists and BCBAs to provide them, which created a demand for technologies that will allow more learners to be served with quality services.”
That, according to DrOmnibus CFO Michal Rys, is why the ABA DrOmnibus app was created.
He and Wojciech Bieronski, Head of R&D, were interviewed by bSci21Media, owner of the world’s largest media outlet for ABA services. DrOmnibus is the only ABA company globally to take part in the Google Launchpad Accelerator program. As a tool developed by behavior analysts for behavior analysts, ABA DrOmnibus aids therapy with such features as automatic data collection and graphing, AI-based teaching, avoidance of overstimulation, or a set of over 7000 tasks for children.
In the upcoming months, the app is going to receive an important content update to create a database of readily-accessible pictures and videos, allowing for further customization and expanded automatic assistance from the AI. Therapists will be able, for instance, to use videomodelling when teaching their patients motor imitation skills. The app will also help optimize therapy by cutting the time needed to travel to patients, prepare for sessions, and write reports. As Wojciech says, “We definitely want to focus on customization now. We want to give you the possibility of getting super quick assistance from the app, based on the resources we provide.”
